Biography
Dr. Oubihi is a consultant and Expert on Japanese Drug Development and Regulatory Affairs with more than 20 years global experience in bio. and pharmaceutical field (EU, Japan, Asia Pacific and Emerging markets).

Dr. Oubihi was the Regulatory Affairs Regional Lead of the Japanese affiliate of Novo-Nordisk demerger (Novozymes) in Tokyo from 2005. He was also Ex-Vice Chairman of Japanese Association of Enzyme Additives.

In 2007 Dr. Oubihi joined Biogen Idec in the UK to lead the company’s expansion in Japan and Asia Pacific from a Regulatory perspective.

From July 2012 until Sep 2013 Dr. Oubihi was Associate Director Abbott/Abbvie, Regulatory Strategy group covering Japan and Asia Pacific. He has led regulatory strategy and submissions across various therapeutic areas for both development and commercial products.

From October 2013, Dr. Oubihi is the owner and Managing Director of YAKUMED Ltd, a niche regulatory and drug development consultancy specializing in the Japanese market.
